Lighter Load
Nike brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide optimal stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed Nike to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe.
Transfer the Power
A firm foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from heel to toe, giving you a more secure feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots.
Lightweight Upper
Nike reduced the weight of the engineered mesh while maintaining durability in high-wear zones by the toe.
- The full midfoot fit band allows you to pull the laces tighter to enhance the fit and enable faster cuts.
- The midsole foam inbetween the plastic and rubber, which wasn't on the Vapor 11, helps keep you light on your feet.
